Meet Elizabeth
Elizabeth completed her undergraduate studies at Saint Joseph’s University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences and a double minor in Biology and Health Care Ethics. In 2008, she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. Elizabeth is a licensed Physical Therapist in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Elizabeth started her career working in pediatrics at Overbrook School for the Blind in Philadelphia. She then moved to Cleveland, OH and trained at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where she specialized in pelvic floor dysfunction and neurological impairments.
Elizabeth has attended intensive training courses with the Herman & Wallace Institute to further her pelvic health knowledge and was recently certified as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. Elizabeth has always had a passion for women’s health and pelvic floor awareness and continues to stay up-to-date with continuing education courses focusing in this area of physical therapy. In her 17 years as a physical therapist, over 6 years and counting have been dedicated to pelvic health.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys adventures with her husband and two young daughters, traveling, live music, reading, hiking, practicing yoga and drawing/painting. She recently illustrated a book “Riley’s Remarkable Roller Coaster Ride” and has been going into to schools to teach kids about mindfulness and art - two of her favorite things! She enjoys giving back to her community and is on the Board of the Friends of the Bernardsville Library.
